Let the season Begin!!

The boat is in for the 2021 season, and the first charter of the year is this upcoming weekend. I have been out 4 times in the past couple of weeks and so far brown and Lake Trout have been what's biting so far. With the water warming it's only a matter of time until some nice silver spring salmon start showing up. Heres my first post of the 2020 season. It's been a long winter, but my first scheduled charter is only 60 days away now!! If this mild weather pattern continues we should have the boat ready to go sometime in March!! I still have plenty of dates open in April and May for spring fishing. The brown trout and lake trout fishing is great in April, and with the warmer winter, the salmon should start biting early again this year!! Many of my repeat clients have already reserved their dates for the 2020 season, so contact me sooner than later to lock in your day on the water this year. Thanks, Captain Mike

Well the good fishing has continued through June, and the salmon are getting bigger!! Due to some cancellations, here are the weekend morning dates that are still open for this summer. Saturday June 29th, Saturday July 6th, and Sunday July 7th. Sunday July 21st, and Sunday July 28th. For August the following weekend mornings are available. Sunday Aug 4th, Saturday Aug 10th, Saturday Aug 24th, Sunday Aug 25th( the only full weekend left), And Saturday August 31st. There are still some weekday mornings open also. The salmon have arrived!! The fishing for the past 2 weeks has really picked up, and the kings are hungry!! we boated 7 kings on Friday, and 8 on Saturday, with the biggest being a little over 20 pounds!! Another good day on the water yesterday for Karl and Kyle!! We targeted lakers for the first few hours, and had hoped to get some action on kings on our higher rigs, but they didn't produce. After we had our fill of lakers we went inshore to target browns and salmon. Although we did have a king on that one got away from us. We ended the day with a coho salmon, and 4 lake trout in the cooler out of the 8 that we landed!!
