The Salmon fishing this month continues to be stellar!! Lots of Kings in the 6-15 pound class range out there right now! We had mostly kings on Saturday, and kept 4 for the grill out of the 12 fish we boated that day. Sunday was a little tougher after a day and a half of east wind, but we still managed 11 nice salmon, along with a steelhead and a laker to round out the catch. Many other smaller fish released, and a few hard hitting fish that are still out there to swim another day!!  I still have dates open for the rest of May, and have plenty of days available for the month of June, including most of the weekends so far! There is still limited weekend days available in July and August, but they are filling fast Contact me today to book a charter before they dates are filled up. (or we catch them all!!- Ha!)                                                                                                                                                                                            Thanks, Captain Mike call or text 585-413-6503

The spring salmon fishing this month has been just about as good as it gets!!!! From the Niagara river all of the way to Oswego at the East end of the lake the salmon fishing has been on fire! My charter group last weekend had multiple kings up to 19 pounds mixed in with brown and lake trout. We were also able to weigh in 2 Brown trout for the spring LOC Derby and if they hold up for a couple more days, those anglers will be cashing a check for those fish! I still have the next 2 weekends open May 26/27, and June 2/3 so don't wait and call me today to get in on what most Captains and recreational fisherman are calling the most Epic spring fishing they have ever experienced on Lake Ontario. Thanks Captain Mike  585-413-6503

I had the honor of catching the first Chinook Salmon of the year on my boat yesterday!! The predictions are for very good numbers, and a good size class of mature salmon for the 2018 season!! Unfortunately the weather has not been good to us so far this spring, and every scheduled trip I have had has been postponed due to high wind/waves. Lets hope this windy trend will change. The good news is I still have many dates open in May, and the Salmon fishing will only get better from here!! I do have my lodging open for the season, so no worries about finding a place to stay if you are from out of town. Call me today 585 413 6503, and I will get you out on the water for a memorable day of fishing on Lake Ontario! Thanks, Captain Mike

April 2018

The 2018 season has begun!! Although I have had the boat in the water for a couple of weeks, we have only been out fishing 3 times so far due to cold and windy weather. So far the catch has been brown trout in close to shore, and tons of action on lake trout out a little deeper. I did hear of a few salmon caught this past weekend at various ports along the lake, and there should be more caught in the coming weeks as the water gets warmer. The Spring LOC Fishing Derby runs from May 11th through the 20th this year so call me if you would like to get in on the chance at $15,000 for the biggest Salmon with daily prizes for the biggest fish in 3 categories. I plan on having the boat in the Port of Wilson for the derby for the great spring salmon fishing off of the Niagara Bar. Wilson is only a 25 minute drive from my lodge in Lyndonville. Contact me today to set up your charter for the 2018 season. Thanks Captain Mike
