Fishing was great out of Wilson , NY this past week. I had hoped to spend more time down there this spring, but work and other obligations got in the way. We will certainly be fishing out of Wilson, and the Niagara bar next May of 2018!!! I moved the boat back to Point Breeze this morning, and we will be fishing out of the Oak for the rest of the 2017 season!!! Although many of my weekend dates are already filled up for this summer, I still have many weekday mornings, and even some weekend evening trips available!!! The fishing is only going to get better, and if all the salmon we caught out of Wilson this spring is any indicator, it should be a great year of fishing out of the Oak!!! Contact me today to set up a charter for this 2017 season. Thanks Captain Mike!!!!

Dates are starting to get filled, so contact me asap to confirm the dates you would like to fish this year!! My docking arrangements are going to change for the 2017 season, so anyone who has fished with me before, I will not be docked at the Black North, but rather the boat will be docked just up the road at Ernsts Lake Breeze Marina. The marina has plenty of parking, bathroom facilities, and a waterfront restraunt that serves breakfast and lunch. The cafe usually opens at 5 a.m for breakfast. Thanks, Captain Mike 585-413-6503

Well the 2016 season is behind us, and I have excitingnews for 2017. In August I upgraded from the Trustyold Thompson to a 29 foot AquasportTournament Master fishing vessel!! The new boat has twin
inboard engines, has a wide open back deck for fishing with an 11 foot beam, and much more room down in the cabin with also a private stand uphead/toilet. I fished the vessel at the end of the season this year, andthe few clients that got to fish the new boat really enjoyed the upgrade!!
So, with a bigger faster boat, I have decided to take her down to Wilsonharbor this spring for the
month of May to fish the Niagara Bar, and enjoy the great Chinook salmon fishing that the waters off of
NiagaraCounty has to offer in spring!! Contact me for more info. And last but not least I have decided
that after a trial run last summer we are again going to be offering lodging for customers at our private
property in Lyndonville. The rental house is situated right in between Pointe Breeze and Wilson, with
around a 20 minute drive to the boat inthe morning to either port.
So Merry Christmas everyone, enjoy the holidays with friends and family, and I look forward to fishing with everyone in 2017!! Remember it's never to early to book your date for the year, as the calls to
reserve dates are already coming in. check out the calendar section on the website for open dates, or
give me a call!! Thanks- Captain Mike
